Breaking News 6 Feb 2010 - Shot Show
Robinson Armament Co. created much excitement at the Shot Show.
Universally, the XCR was hailed for its innovative features. 2010 is going
to be a banner year for the company. The company is shipping it's new XCR
pistol in 3 calibers and working on a .308 version (the XCR-M).
Additionally, the company hopes to ship at least two more caliber conversion
kits for the XCR-L. One of those caliber is 5.45x39mm. Anyone
interested in this caliber should contact
tech@robarm.com.
Two other calibers under consideration are 6.5 and 6x45.
Breaking News 9 Oct 2009 - New XCR™
Patent
Robinson Armament Co. just received a patent (United States Patent
US7596900) on the XCR's unique bolt catch and magazine release combination.
Also, the XCR™ Pistols in 5.56 cal. just
began shipping today!!! Because no part of the XCR's action cycles into
the buttstock, the XCR™ pistol can be made into a much
smaller package that competing system. Pistols in 6.8 and 7.62x39mm will
begin shipping shortly.

The XCR™ Modular Weapon System offers ergonomics, accuracy, reliability,
durability, and modularity found on no other weapon system. The XCR's
ambidextrous ergonomic controls allow the operator to keep his eyes on the the
target at all times. It also boasts the quickest magazine change time of
any rifle. The lower receiver is the only serialized part which allows the XCR™
to be assembled into a variety of configurations for any mission from an
ultra-short personal defense weapon or pistol with a 7" barrel to a full length
rifle with an 18.6" barrel. (All NFA Rules Apply). The XCR's
"Kalashnikov Theory" operating system uses a super reliable piston driven,
heavy-duty, three-lug bolt which incorporates a heavy duty extractor and a fixed
ejector. The XCR™ in any configuration can be converted to fire multiple
calibers with a simple change of the barrel, bolt, magazine, and brass
deflector. The XCR's adjustable gas system, allows the system to
accommodate a wide variety of ammunition and to be fired with a sound suppressor
without undue wear on the system. Not only is the XCR™ super reliable and
durable, its maintenance is extremely simple and straightforward lowering the
total cost of ownership.
