News Release 8 April 2004

Well it looks like the end for the M4 Carbine as the rifle of choice for the U.S. Special Forces. The US Special Forces have come out with a new specification which the M4 will not meet. USSCOM admits that the M4 never met their requirements. No wonder there has been so much interest lately in the M96.

The VEPR is still the voted the best AK by those who own them. We now offer a model with a skeletonized stock and vented handguard with sling swivels on the side. Pictures will be posted shortly.

Peter Kokalis has written an excellent review of the M96 Recon Carbine. It is begins on the cover of Small Arms Review's April Issue.
