You asked for it and we delivered - a .223 rifle which is both accurate and as reliable as a Kalashnikov.
We have just received small quanity of VEPR .223 Rifles. These rifles were designed and manufactured by the Vyatskie Polyany Machine Building Plant which developed the VEPR .308 which is considered to be the highest quality Kalashnikov based rifle on the market. These rifles are manufactured and assembled in Russia from newly manufactured parts unlike so many other Kalashnikov based rifles made from surplus or parts which would not pass military inspection.
The recoil of the VEPR .223 is very low and rifle is very accurate. The barrels are 20.5" long and are hammer-forged with chrome- lined bores. Each VEPR .223 comes with two 10 round magazines and a cleaning kit. The VEPR .223 comes equipped with a scope mount rail on the left side of the receiver and has two standard US sling studs allowing the owner to use a wider variety of mounts, optics, and slings.
Scope mounts and other accessories for this rifle will be available from us in January 2000.
