Robinson Armament Co. just received a patent (United States Patent US7596900) on the XCR's unique bolt catch and magazine release.

Also,  the XCR™ Pistols in 5.56 cal. just began shipping today!!!  Because no part of the XCR's action cycles into the buttstock, the XCR™ pistol can be made into a much smaller package that competing system.  Pistols in 6.8 and 7.62x39mm will begin shipping shortly.

The XCR™ pistols will begin shipping this month. We've added a single shot version for those unlucky enough to live in California. It is charged by pulling back and releasing the charging handle. One part may be added to the pistol once in California to make it a Semi-Auto. This product can now be ordered from our website.

We've just learned that Mike Kelly won the Canadian Nationals Level III 3-Gun Match competition using his XCR™ Rifle on 2August 2009. Way to go Mike!!!

We had so much fun cutting some length off the XCR™ Carbine and coming up with the PDW that we decided to keep sawing. We are pleased to announce several new products, including an XCR™ Pistol and Micro PDW which will be available beginning next month as complete firearms or as parts to convert your existing XCR™.

We've officially added the XCR PDW to our online products as a complete rifle and as an upper receiver for those who already have XCRs. These new products will be available in August.
